READY TO HEAL,LEARN,GROW, FLOURISH AND THRIVE?
Lydia Walker
Trauma-informed Certified Coach, Integrative Therapist, Trauma Educator & Highly Sensitive
Hi I’m Lydia, trauma-informed coach, integrative therapist and trainer.
Whether you are a coach who wants to learn how to adopt a trauma-informed approach into your practice or if you are looking for someone to help you get past those invisible blocks which persist despite all you have tried so you can flourish in your relationships, work and personal life, then you are in the right place!
My ‘Why’
Whether it is speaking about trauma, and path towards healing or supporting others to truly flourish in the here and now, my passion comes from my own lived experience of struggling with feeling overwhelmed, stuck and hopeless… whilst having no understanding why things felt so hard.
Deciding one day that enough was enough, I set out to find the answers.
Why did I seem to struggle when others didn’t?
Why when I want to move forward do I feel stuck with overwhelm, anxiety and like I can’t cope?
I found the answers to ‘why’ and then discovered that head-based KNOWING wasn’t enough. I had the tools and resource’s my head needed, I knew in my heart what I wanted, I had done the mindset and vision work, and yet when it was time for the rubber to hit the road it didn’t happen.
To be able to step forward fully feeling lighter, with a calm clear head, and true alignment, I needed to go deeper.
Fast forward to today, I have trained in 6 different therapeutic change-work and coaching modalities, added 1000’s of hours of further study and am currently training with HeartMath as a Trauma-Sensitive practitioner.
I am now share with others what I wish I had access to decades ago through my 1:1 work and coach CPD trainings.
‘‘A truly amazing teacher who walks her own talk, I highly recommend Lydia’s facilitation, speaking and expertise.’’

Working with Lydia
what others have said
‘‘When I started working with Lydia, I was not happy within myself and frustrated that I found it hard to express myself on things that I wanted or my needs in relationships. I didn’t have confidence in myself.
After working together for a few months, I feel so much more comfortable in my own skin and feel solid in my inner self. I have never felt so solid in myself and have the confidence that I have my own back. The confidence I have in myself has made me feel like I am no longer inferior to others. I now no longer try and guess and worry what people think, I have the confidence and the correct language to use to ask people.
I now also know and understand my own boundaries and more aware of others have their own boundaries/beliefs, that when discussed with each other makes life so much easier.
I have found the whole journey and the tools that Lydia has taken me through fascinating. I feel so much lighter mentally and the frustrations I had with myself have disappeared. I have also found these changes have made my work life easier too. Quite a few of my colleagues have stated that they have seen a change in me.
I have recommended Lydia to multiple people I know. I cannot thank Lydia enough as she has changed my life so much for the positive. All my adult life I have never felt so comfortable in my own skin.’’

‘‘Before working with Lydia I was constantly anxious, which I was barely managing. I was always worried about what may happen, rather than living in the moment and enjoying life. I would always be worrying about my health and my children's health, and this would affect my day to day thoughts. Sometimes this would spiral and I would feel very low.
Things are different now! I am able to enjoy day to day life without the constant worry of what may happen, or what may go wrong.
I have always enjoyed my session and would absolutely recommend Lydia, without question!’’

“When I started working with Lydia is was feeling anxious and low all the time, disassociating, panic attacks, struggling to be a positive parent and partner, spending lots of time in bed crying feeling overwhelmed, intensely sad or numb.
Now I feel generally happier and the anxious times are occasional rather than constant. I understand myself so much better, when I have a negative reaction I can understand it in the context of my past and how my anxiety pattern works and then use the toolkit Lydia's given me to calm myself down.
I feel safer and more confident that I can handle life. I have a lot more patience with my child and the tension with my partner has gone away.
It's completely transformed my understanding of myself and my reactions and has given me the tools to work on building positive emotions.
The people close to you will benefit from your reduced stress as much as you will.’’

feedback on relief from anxiety
‘‘It was interesting to have all the science/psychology behind it to understand anxiety better. When I did CBT, it left me wanting to know more, and this was addressed in the session yesterday.
I really liked the more practical tips that can easily be integrated into everyday life. And I found the section on beliefs particularly interesting. It highlighted the importance of mindset and believing that severe anxiety doesn't always have to be there.
Lydia is also extremely friendly, welcoming and personable.’’
