Trauma-Informed Online Training

For coaches, NLP Practitioners & helping professionals

Helping you provide a supportive and transformational client experience whilst noticing how trauma may be impacting your client today.

Trauma has become front and centre in many of our lives over the last few years, whether we realise it or not.

Research prior to the pandemic put 50% of us having had at least one traumatic event in our lives, 1 in 5 of us having more than one.

And that number has increased with even more of us being impacted in one way of another. Perhaps through a loss of a loved one, financial loss or even the loss of control or choices in our every day life.

The old understanding of trauma was it was an event. Something big and bad happening such as being a victim of a crime, going to war or having a major injury.

However we know now this isn’t the case.

Too much, too fast or too often

Trauma is the result of what happens within us. Whether we are traumatised or not is individual to us all and our unique nervous system. This can be anything which resulting in an overwhelm of our natural capacity to cope. It is not a conscious choice. When we are not able to process the impact the experience has within our body, the result is what defines there has been trauma.

Trauma can also be experienced when what should have happened didn’t. This is often the case with early developmental trauma, when predictability, access to comfort and safety weren’t felt.

There is a difference between having an awareness of trauma and working with trauma.

Being trauma-informed isn’t about working with the trauma or a replacement for treating trauma.

Instead, providing a trauma-informed and a trauma-sensitive service allows you to provide an environment which supports someone whilst being aware how to avoid inadvertently re-traumatising your client.

These workshops will give you a sound foundation and understanding of trauma to allow you to safely explore and facilitate change and coaching in a way that takes in to account how trauma may be impacting your client today.

Below are some of the workshops available. If you aren’t sure which is a good fit for you, or you fancy a quick chat, we can arrange a 10 minute call to figure out what is right for you.

Meet your host.

As a certified coach and integrative therapist, raising awareness and educating about trauma is more than just my work.

It is personal for me.

My drive to gain a deeper understanding and expansive academic and practical knowledge was due to my personal experience of living with undiagnosed cPTSD which impacted my emotional and mental health for decades.

By sharing my own experiences as well as my expertise as a professional, you will gain a unique perspective that bridges the gap between what you see while working with clients and the regular training that is offer to coaches and other professionals

Not being defined by a label or being held back by past adversity are key messages that I also promote through sharing the steps to Post Traumatic Growth.

In my 1:1 work as a coach and therapist I support women who feel their emotions deeply to become emotional athletes so they can feel happier and more confident whilst living their life fully.
